Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 9, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information FPA Engineers (“we”, “us”, “the site”) collects from visitors, how it is used, and the choices you have. We tried to keep this short and readable instead of hiding behind legalese.

1. Who we are

FPA Engineers is an independent publication covering tech news, gadget reviews, cybersecurity, and how-to guides for working engineers. The site is published at https://fpa-engineers.com/. You can reach us at [email protected].

2. Information we collect

Information you give us. If you leave a comment, send an email, or sign up for a newsletter, we receive whatever you choose to provide — typically a name, email address, and the content of your message.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our server logs include your IP address, browser user agent, referring URL, and the pages you visit. These logs help us debug problems and detect abuse.

Cookies. If you leave a comment, WordPress may store your name, email, and website in a cookie for your convenience so you don’t have to re-enter them next time. Login and screen-display cookies are set for site administrators only.

3. How we use information

  • To publish and moderate the comments you submit.
  • To respond to messages you send us.
  • To keep the site secure and detect spam or abuse.
  • To understand which articles are useful so we can write more of what readers actually value.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not run behavioral advertising networks on this site.

4. Embedded content and third-party services

Articles may include embedded content (videos, code playgrounds, social posts) from other sites. Embedded content behaves exactly as if you had visited that other site, including any cookies or tracking it sets. We may also use Gravatar to display avatars beside comments; the Gravatar privacy policy is available at automattic.com/privacy.

5. How long we keep your data

Approved comments and their metadata are retained indefinitely so follow-up comments from the same person can be approved automatically. Server logs are rotated and deleted within 30 days unless we need them for a security investigation.

6. Your rights

If you live in the EU, the UK, or another region with similar data-protection laws, you have the right to request a copy of any personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] with your request and we will respond within 30 days.

7. Security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect the site, but no website is perfectly secure. If you discover a vulnerability, please report it responsibly to [email protected] and give us a fair chance to fix it before disclosing publicly.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top of the page will always reflect the most recent revision. Material changes will also be announced in a published post.

9. Contact
